A Westport man was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing for attacking two females Saturday night.
43-year-old Paul T. Boudria was arrested after he attacked two females in his home on 505 Division Road then fled.
Police say he arrived intoxicated and threaten to use a gun against a 38 year old woman and her daughter. The 911 call came in at 6:20 p.m.
The woman told police he walked inside and started to physically fight with her and a 13-year-old girl.
The suspect hit the minor with the end of a .22 caliber rifle in the stomach. The girl pushed the rifle away and Boudria hit her on the side of the face with the rifle. She was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
He then fled behind the home and ran into the woods with the firearm.
Neighbors were notified and 40 police officers including the SWAT team began to search for him.
A chopper spotted him in the woods and a K9 ultimately tracked him down at 12:40 a.m.
Boudria was taken into custody and charged on three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a child with injury and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He is scheduled to reappear in Fall River District Court November 18th.
