West Bay Community Theatre announces auditions for ‘Cabaret – In Concert’

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The West Bay Community Theatre announced they will be holding auditions for one of their upcoming productions in June.

Officials said auditions for the 2023 production of “Cabaret – In Concert” will be held on Friday, June 2, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 3, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The theatre is looking for people ages 16 and older to audition, who are interested in a role in a music-focused show.

Those auditioning are also asked to prepare 32 bars of a song from the show or in the style of the show.

The theatre said the production date is set for Saturday, August 12, in Wickford. Rehearsals are scheduled to start in late June.
