West Warwick fire kills dog, displaces 2 residents

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A fire in West Warwick left two people without a home and killed one dog Thursday afternoon.

The fire happened at about 1:30 p.m. at a ranch house on Deerfield Drive.

Two men were in the home at the time of the fire. One was treated on the scene.

The American Red Cross is assisting the two residents.

The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately released.
