West Warwick police identify man killed in motorcycle crash

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — West Warwick police on Monday identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash last week.

The department said 54-year-old Steven Brown of West Warwick was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday night.

The crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. on New London Turnpike near the intersection of Scenic Drive.

Brown was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital where he later died.

Flowers were left at the crash site the next morning in his memory.

The crash remains under investigation.
