Westport police arrest two suspects for stealing from unlocked cars

WESTPORT, M.A. (WLNE) – Two people are now in custody after police responded to several calls Thursday morning for stolen property taken from cars.

Cory St. Pierre and Jeanna Disanti, of Westport, were charged with several counts of breaking and entering into cars which is a felony.

They were also charged with resisting arrest among other charges.

The thefts occured in the area of Briggs road, East Briggs road, Gifford Road, and Osborn Street.

Police recovered numerous bags of stolen items.

Police want to remind residents to make sure their car doors are locked everyday.
