Westerly man charged with sexually assaulting patient under anesthesia at dental clinic
CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) A Westerly man has been charged with second degree sexual assault after police say he took advantage of a patient under anesthesia at a Charlestown dental office.
Charlestown Police Chief Michael Paliotta said 31-year-old Kris Magbag turned himself into police on May 4, after a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
The alleged sexual assault occured on April 21.
Paliotta said the incident remains under investigation. The name of the victim has not been released, in an effort to protect their identity.
Magbag was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond, and is due back in court at a later date.
