Westerly police identify victims in deadly motorcycle crash

Police say the driver of the truck is cooperating with the investigation.

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE)- A man died after a crash Saturday evening involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Westerly police said the crash happened just after 7 p.m. at Shore and Langworthy Roads.

Rescue crews arrived on scene and found the two passengers of the motorcycle, a man and a woman, both with serious injuries.

Police identified the operator as 60-year-old Angelo Pascuzzi, of Westerly and New Britain, Connecticut.

Pascuzzi was rushed to Westerly Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The passenger, Tamala Facas, 50, of Westerly, was taken by medical helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital’s Trauma Center.

Police said the driver of the pickup truck was not injured, and is cooperating with the investigation.

The crash is under investigation.
