Westerly police ask for help in search for teen

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Westerly Police Department are asking for community assistance in the search for a missing 16-year-old.
Cherish Wagner’s family say she left her home in the early hours of April 27.
She has since texted her father, saying that she was “okay,” but would not say where she was, the department said.
She was possibly last seen wearing black leggings and a hooded sweatshirt with marijuana leaves on it, they continued.
The department added that its investigation has shown that she is possibly with her boyfriend, last name Barratt, who may live in the Providence or North Providence area.
Anyone with information can contact the department at 401-596-2022.
