Westerly Woman Charged in Death of Motorcyclist

Attorney General Patrick Lynch's office announced Thursday afternoon that the driver who hit and killed a man in Charlestown on Sunday was arraigned today on one count of driving to endanger, death resulting.

26 year-old Laura Reale of Westerly allegedly failed to stop at a red light on Route 1 in Charlestown, subsequently hitting 27 year-old Colin Foote, who was driving a motorcycle.  Foote died later Sunday night from his injuries.  He was an account manager at Regan Communications, a PR firm in Providence.
