White nationalist flyers found in Scituate

SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Scituate Police Department said that white nationalist flyers were found in multiple driveways in town on Saturday.

In a police report obtained by ABC 6 News, a police officer said that they responded to a home on West Greenville Road after a caller said that they found a small plastic bag containing rocks with a white nationalist flyer taped on it in her driveway.

The flyer was from the Nationalist Social Club 131, which distributed flyers in Middletown driveways earlier this month.

The flyer contained contact information for the group as well as several inflammatory claims about racial and ethnic populations in New England.

The officer said that they collected 15 similar bags in driveways in the area, including several on Pole Bridge and Elmdale Roads.

The report ended by saying that officers should “familiarize themselves with the group due to their extremist views.”

The group has also distributed flyers in Barrington, Providence, and North Kingstown.
