Convicted mobster James “Whitey” Bulger has been moved to a federal prison in Florida.

The 85-year-old arrived at Coleman Penitentiary just outside Orlando Wednesday.

A spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons did not say why he was moved.

Bulger was convicted last summer for his role in 11 murders.

He’s currently appealing his life sentence.
