William Hall Library reopens after boiler failure

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Officials from the William Hall Library said they will be open to the public again starting Saturday.

In a release, the library said repairs to the boiler that failed were completed.

The library will be open Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will resume their normal hours of operation.

After their initial closure on Wednesday, Sarah Bouvier, the library’s communications manager said, “Rhode Island Building code 602.4 states all indoor occupiable work spaces must maintain a minimum temperature of sixty-five degrees Fahrenheit between Oct. 1-May 1 and we aren’t able to maintain that temperature at this time.
