As holiday weekends go, this one is sublime. High pressure is firmly in control and will continue to provide sunny days and pleasant nights. Temperatures will be climbing into the 80s this week. and we should be topping out at 85-90 most days this week and with the muggy humidity, it will feel warmer and uncomfortable. The coast will be cooler and wave heights are coming down as the remnants of hurricane Idalia continues to move away to the Canadian maritimes. Beach conditions Sunday will feature sunny skies and a high of 75. Meanwhile Monday at the beach will be sunny with a high of 80 and highs will be closer to 90 inland. Mostly sunny skies and muggy conditions continue through midweek with our next chance of showers looking to be Friday night.
