Winter Storm Update

Tuesday calls for morning clouds and snow showers, then some sun by the afternoon. Look for wakeup temps in the teens and highs in the upper 20s to near 30, with winds from the north up to 15 mph. Wind chills will be in the single digits in the morning, rising to the teens by the afternoon. Tuesday night looks cold and brisk, with lows in the teens and wind chills near zero.

Wednesday will be partly sunny and continued brisk, with highs in mid to upper 20s. Another chance of accumulating snow develops late Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. This looks to be a powerful coastal storm, but the storm track needs to be more certain in order to get a handle on expected snow totals. Worst case scenario would be a foot of snow and 40+ mph winds late Thursday into Friday morning. But if the storm tracks farther to the southeast, we could be looking at only a few inches. Stay tuned.
