With no winner, Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing climbs to $820M

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is estimated to be $820 million with a $422 million cash option.

It’s the fifth-largest prize in Mega Millions history.

No one has matched all six numbers and claimed victory since April.

That almost changed about a week ago, when a $1 million winning ticket was sold at the Mobil gas station in Cumberland.

That person matched all five numbers, but did not get the Mega Ball correct, which would have won them an almost $700 million jackpot.

The $820 million drawing will take place at 11 p.m. Players have until 9:50 p.m. to buy tickets.
