Woman charged in drowning death of 10-month-old Providence boy
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said Friday a woman was charged in the drowning death of a 10-month-old boy.
The incident happened last year in August on Chad Brown Street. The boy drowned in a bathtub.
Esther Pacheco was arrested this week. Per court records, she was charged with one count of manslaughter and four counts of cruelty to or neglect of a child.
Pacheco, who’s 31 years old and from Providence, was held without bail and is scheduled to be back in court next week.
