Woman dies after falling from third-story porch in Central Falls

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — One of the two people who fell from a third-story porch in Central Falls on Monday has died.

Police said Thursday that Marisol Winns, 43, died from her injuries on Wednesday night.

The second person who fell, 40-year-old Aaron Carpenter, was still in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital.

The incident happened at about 9:45 a.m. Monday at a house on Ledge Street. Officers found Winns and Carpenter on the sidewalk unconscious.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances of how the two fell.
