Woman in crash at Cumberland Farms arrested for domestic felony assault

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE)- Police tell ABC6 that a reported road rage incident turned into a domestic felony assault involving two vehicles early Friday morning.

Central Falls Police responded to the Cumberland Farms on Central and Broad Street around 1:00 am.

A woman driving one of the cars was arrested and transported to the hospital for injuries.

Police are waiting for her release so she can be arraigned on several charges including domestic felony assault and reckless driving.

No vehicles struck the building of the Cumberland Farms, and the barriers prevented damage to the gas pumps.
