Woman Seriously Injured in Raynham Rollover

State Police Investigate Serious Crash on Route 24 South in Raynham

Today at approximately 6:58 a.m., troopers from the Middleboro barracks responded to reports of a single-car crash on Route 24 Southbound near exit 13.

Preliminary investigation conducted by Trooper Nuno Medeiros indicates that a 2002 Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle, being operated by 25-year-old Jeanine Medina of East Taunton, drifted left out of the far left travel lane, lost control and subsequently rolled over.  The vehicle came to rest in the median.

Medina was transported via medical helicopter to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries she received.

The left travel lane was closed for approximately 45 minutes and both lanes were closed for 20 minutes, while the investigation was completed.

This crash remains under investigation by Troop D of the Massachusetts State Police.

Troopers were additionally assisted at the scene by Raynham Fire/Rescue, Raynham Emergency Medical Services and Boston Medical Center's Life Flight.
