Woman texting while driving rolls car in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, M.A. (WLNE) — A 20-year-old female is was cited with texting while driving after her car struck a parked car and rolled over, coming to rest side-by-side with another vehicle.

According to Mansfield Police, officers responded to School Street around 9:45 a.m., after calls came in about a rollover crash.

Upon arrival, a vehicle was seen resting on its side, up against a vehicle parked in the driveway of the nearby home.

The sole occupant of the vehicle was reported to able to remove herself from the car, and sustained no injuries.

Officers on scene learned the vehicle exited the roadway, struck a parked car and then rolled over into the driveway, and ended up resting against a parked vehicle.

The unidentified operator, a Mansfield resident, was cited for:

  • Impeded Operation – Texting while driving.
