Woman’s body found at reservation area in Massachusetts
SAUGUS, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said the dead body of a woman was recovered from the Breakheart Reservation area in Saugus.
Officials said at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, a man fishing called 911 saying he saw a body floating off Breakheart Beach.
Saugus police officers were first on the scene and pulled the body to shore. EMTs said the woman, identified as being 50-years-old, was determined dead at the scene.
State police said they also responded to conduct an investigation through the reservation.
Further information about the woman and circumstances surrounding her death are pending a post-mortem investigation by the Chief Medical Examiner.
Authorities said there is no evidence of foul play.
