A Woonsocket
woman was charged after throwing a party – that turned violent – while her two
young kids were sleeping.

Police say they were called to the home of Pamela Perez, 36,
last Sunday after neighbors reported screaming, glass breaking, and someone threatening to
kick in a door.

When officers arrived, party-goers fled. Officers then found
Perez's two daughters, 11 and 14, asleep inside the home.

Perez was initially charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting
arrest.
