Woonsocket police charge daughter with 1st degree murder in father’s death

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Woonsocket police said Tuesday they charged the daughter of a man who was killed in an apparent domestic dispute.

Police said Joseph Pamula, 70, was found dead just before 5 p.m. Monday on Cato Street.

Police said Pamula’s daughter, 38-year-old Jennifer Pamula, is currently in custody and will be charged with first degree murder.

They both lived in the same home, said police.

Chief Thomas Oates said the 70-year-old died from multiple injuries sustained during the incident. A firearm was not involved.

No further information was immediately released.
