Woonsocket Police searching for suspect involved in several burglaries

Woonsocket Police Department is searching for a suspect who was involved in multiple burglaries into an elderly woman’s home.

Officials have identified the suspect as 26-year-old Nicholas Clement who has two previous addresses in Woonsocket and Tiverton.

Police describe Clement as being 6’0" tall, 152 lbs, slim build, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Clement is reportedly currently homeless and has been seen riding a White Mountain bike carrying a dark colored backpack in the Woonsocket area. 

Police say he may also frequent Kennedy Plaza in Providence.

The elderly female victim reported that her debit/credit card was used multiple times at different locations that she has never been to. 

Officials say Clement has been seen on several occasions breaking into the victim’s home while she was sleeping.

Clement allegedly would take the victim’s debit/credit card, car keys, and vehicle.
