Wrentham police searching for armed robbery suspect

WRENTHAM, MASS. — A man in a hooded sweatshirt held up a gas station in Wrentham.

Police say the suspect was armed when he entered the Shell Gas Station on Wampum Corner around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night.

The suspect made off with cash and headed south on 495 on foot.

According to officials, the suspect is a white male, slightly taller than 6 feet, wearing a black jacket with 2 rows of lettering (Boston sports team), and a gray hood.
