Wrong-way crash under investigation

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island State Police Department is currently investigating a wrong-way crash that happened Friday night. 

According to the Police, they received a report of a wrong-way driver traveling north in the southbound lane on Route 10 near Union avenue at approximately 11:15 pm. 

Moments later, the driver struck another car. 

Police says the occupants of each vehicle were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Charges are not expected at this time.
