Yarmouth Police seize fentanyl during search warrant

YARMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) – Yarmouth police served a search warrant on Tuesday at a home on West Yarmouth Road.

During the search, members of the Proactive Anti-Crime Unit and the Narcotics division seized what they believe to be fentanyl, a large amount of cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Police say the street value of the fentanyl seized is over $9,000.

Yarmouth Police arrested the two suspects at the scene.  The suspects were transported to the Yarmouth Police Department and held on bail.

Christopher Gaspar, 34, of West Yarmouth, was arrested and faces the following charges:

  • Fentanyl, Trafficking more than 10 grams
  • Drug possession to distribute Class B

Carlos Cintron, 33, of West Yarmouth, was arrested and faces the following charges:

  • Drug possession to distribute Class B
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Resisting arrest
