YMCA campground vandalized, police searching for suspects

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Johnston Police are searching for the suspects of an incident of "gross vandalism" at YMCA summer camp.
A Facebook post from the department detailed the incident that occurred at Camp Massasoit at 87 Shore Dr.
The suspects allegedly forced entry into the ground’s buildings, causing severe damage. They drew graffiti on the walls, broke equipment, emptied fire extinguishers inside the buildings and attempted to tear down a gutter.

The director of Camp Massasoit was not immediately available for comment.
