PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) –  Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

  • The Custom House Farmers Market in New Bedford opens up at 2:00 PM and parking is free for 30 minutes while you shop for local produce.
  • In South Kingstown, the school committee is discussing reopening and staggering student schedules, as well as stage two of school construction. That starts at 6:00 PM.
  • Finally, one of many 9/11 remembrances today. Honor those who gave their all 19 years ago with a patriotic ride from Exeter – West Greenwich high school to the statehouse. Riders are asked to fly American flags and play the national anthem. That sets off at 7:00 PM
