PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

  • The New Shoreham town council is hosting a zoom meeting to discuss legislation updates and restrictions due to COVID-19. It starts at 5:00 PM
  • The Council on Elementary Education also has a zoom meeting at 5:30 PM to discuss updates on reopening schools. They’ll also be discussing the Department of Education’s priorities for this year.
  • There’s a protest planned for outside the Coventry town hall annex. These demonstrators are pushing for bringing back school sports in Coventry. The protest starts at 6:00 PM.
