Late-week warm-up in store for Southern New England
We have another cool day on tap, but a warmer trend on the way for the end of the week and the weekend!
Temperatures are in the 40s at the start of the day, and it’s still a bit breezy as well. By the afternoon, the wind calms down and temperature top out in the low 60s. A cool day, but a beautiful and mostly sunny one as well!
Overnight we’re back into the mid 40s, but by Friday afternoon the warming trend begins. Highs will be in the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine. Friday evening is looking gorgeous for the Governor’s Cup game! The game kicks off at 7 PM, and temperatures will be around 60 degrees. We’ll be in the mid to low 50s by the 4th quarter, so bring an extra layer if you get cold easily!
The weekend is still mostly sunny and even warmer. Highs will be in the upper 70s both days, feeling a little more like late summer rather than fall. Humidity will tick up slightly on Sunday– not enough that it feels sticky, but just enough that the air doesn’t feel quite as dry.
Monday will be a copycat of Sunday. Clouds increase on Tuesday as low pressure approaches– a system that could bring a few showers for Wednesday!
