1 airlifted to hospital with ‘life threatening injuries’ after crash in West Bridgewater

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — One person was airlifted to the hospital after a single vehicle crash on Route 24 in West Bridgewater on Tuesday, according to Massachusetts State Police.
First responders were called to a rollover crash with ejection on Route 24 South in West Bridgewater around 11 a.m.
At the scene, crews found the driver with “life threatening injuries,” according to the West Bridgewater Fire Department.
The victim was taken to the hospital via MedFlight.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes on the highway were shut down at 11:30 a.m. to give space for the MedFlight to land.
MSP said all lanes were reopened at 1:30 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
