1 dead, 1 injured after shooting at Pawtucket home

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A 28-year-old man was killed and a 25-year-old woman was hurt after a shooting at a Pawtucket home Monday.

The Pawtucket Police Department said officers were called to Arch Street around 2:30 p.m. for a reported shooting and arrived to find a man and woman had been shot.

Both were taken to the hospital, where the man died, but police said the woman is expected to recover.

The shooting remains under investigation, though officials said detectives have developed leads in the case.
