1 dead, 1 injured in small Connecticut plane crash

WALLINGFORD, Conn. — one person is dead Monday night and another is injured after a small plane crash in Wallingford, Connecticut.

First responders were called to a plane crash on Hanover Street just before 6:30 p.m. Monday.

According to police, the two people in the plane were a father and son.

The son is in the hospital, but it is unclear the extent of his injuries at this time.

There is no word yet on what caused the plane to go down.

The Federal Aviation Administration responded to the incident.
