1 dead after crash on Interstate 95 in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 95 in Pawtucket on Wednesday.

The single-car crash happened around 5:30 p.m. by the Lonsdale Avenue exit.

Rhode Island State Police said the car veered off the road and crashed into a pole.

The driver was the only person in the car at the time of the crash, according to state police.
