1 killed, 2 seriously hurt in head-on Dartmouth crash

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — A man was killed and two people were hurt in a head-on crash in Dartmouth on Sunday.

Police were called to a serious crash involving a Cadillac Seville and a GMC Acadia just before 4 p.m. on Chase Road.

Police said the driver of the Cadillac, who has yet to be identified, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

The driver of the GMC, an 82-year-old man, and his passenger, a 75-year-old woman, were also taken to a hospital. They are being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Dartmouth police and Massachusetts State Police.
