108th Feast of the Blessed Sacrament kicks off in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Tonight is the start of the 108th annual Feast of the Blessed Sacrament.

Opening festivities will begin tonight on Madeira Avenue at 6 p.m. with members of the Feast Committee in a procession to Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church.

At the church, Father Daniel O. Reis will celebrate a special Benediction to the Blessed Sacrament.

The feast will run until Sunday, August 4.
