11 McKee cabinet directors in line for salary increases

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Administration will hold a public hearing Wednesday to discuss proposed salary increases for 11 of Governor Dan McKee’s cabinet directors.

According to a statement from the Department of Administration, Unclassified Service Classification and Pay Plan changes for the officials will be discussed and then referred to the General Assembly for approval.

Among officials on the hearing schedule are Director of DCYF Ashley Deckert, Department of Corrections Director Wayne T. Salisbury, Jr. and Rhode Island Department of Transportation Director Peter Alviti.

The public is invited to virtually attend the hearing on Wednesday, March 26 at 11 a.m. via Microsoft Teams.
