11-year-old girl passes away after a choking incident

An 11-year-old girl from Somerset has passed away after choking on a piece of candy.

Azriel Estabrooks, was at a birthday party last weekend when she choked on a large marshmallow, then fell and hit her head.

Through a Go-Fund Me account, Azriel’s parent’s asked for everyone to keep their daughter in their thoughts and prayers as she remained in critical condition at the hospital.

Azriel passed away Friday morning. She was a student at the North Elementary School in Somerset. Her father is a retired Army Veteran.
