14-year-old critically injured after being hit by 2 cars in Cranston
CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A 14-year-old boy is in the hospital in critical condition after he was hit by two cars in Cranston Wednesday night.
According to the Cranston Police Department, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the boy was riding a bicycle down a hill towards Bracken Street and failed to stop where it intersects with Dyer Avenue.
The boy entered Dyer Avenue and was struck by two cars, police said. Both drivers stopped and cooperated with investigators. Neither were found to be under the influence.
The boy was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Cranston Police Department Traffic Unit.
