15-year-old arrested in Fall River for alleged firearm possession

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said its Community Action and Suppression Team arrested a 15-year-old for allegedly possessing a firearm on Jan. 10.

The department said detectives alleged they recovered a Springfield XDS 9mm handgun and five rounds of ammunition from the juvenile.

The suspect was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and possession of a large capacity firearm.
