15-year-old dead, several seriously injured after partial building collapse in Portsmouth
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — A 15-year-old girl was killed and several others were badly hurt in Portsmouth after a partial building collapse Saturday.
A large firefighter response was spotted at the Portuguese American Citizens Club on Power Street on Saturday around 6 p.m.
ABC6 News crews on scene reported seeing that part of the front steps of the building had collapsed.
Several state leaders shared their support Saturday night, including Governor Dan McKee and Congressman Gabe Amo.

Additionally, crews reported that the property, including the parking lot and sidewalk, is blocked off.
