15-year-old shot in arm in Fall River overnight

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said a 15-year-old girl was shot in the arm around midnight Saturday morning.

Sgt. Moises Pereira said that officers responded to the area of Danforth Street and found a young female who sustained a gunshot wound to her left arm.

Peirera said she was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Several shell casings were found were the incident reportedly occurred. No arrests have been made and the incident is still under active investigation.
