16-year-old found dead in Learned Pond in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WLNE) – The body of a teenager was pulled from a pond in Framingham on Wednesday.

According to the city’s Deputy Chief of Police, the 16-year-old was pulled from “Learned Pond” shortly after 6:15 p.m.

The boy was swinging into the pond from a rope and never came back up.

He was pronounced dead at a nearby medical center.

His identity is not being released until next of kin are notified.
