16-year-old shot in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE): A 16-year-old boy was shot on Grape Street in Providence on Sunday night, according to Providence Police Commander Thomas Verdi.

The boy was taken to Miriam Hospital where a heavy police presence was seen outside. The victim was then taken to Hasbro CHildren’s Hospital and is suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made and the cause is still under investigation.
