17 year old male shot in Providence

Police performing a routine check discover a 17 year-old male was shot early Saturday morning.
Police tell ABC 6 they responded at 3 a.m. to the sound of gunfire on Rutherglen Avenue on June 6th where a 17 year old male was shot.
Police were performing a routine check in the Washington Park area when they heard the gunfire.
They pursued a black Jeep Cherokee to Lexington Avenue, pulled the vehicle over and discovered four men inside and one with two gunshot wounds to the neck and right arm.
The victim was attempting to transport himself to the hospital but Officials transported him to Rhode Island Hospital. He is in stable condition.
No suspects are in custody and the case remains under investigation.
