18-year-old arrested in connection with Fall River shooting

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)- An 18-year-old Fall River man was arrested Friday evening in connection with a double-homicide earlier this week.
The Fall River District Attorney’s Office confirmed Jeremy Holmes was taken into custody at the Boston Marriott Hotel in Burlington.
Holmes is charged with carrying an illegal firearm, carrying a loaded illegal firearm, and unlawful possession of a large capacity firearm. He will be arraigned Monday morning.
The shooting in Fall River occurred Tuesday afternoon near Griffin Park. 29-year-old Jovaughn Antonio Mills and 14-year-old Miguel Sanjurjo, both of Fall River, were killed.
