18-year-old dead, 5 others injured after 3-vehicle crash in Seekonk
SEEKONK, Mass. (WNLE) — A Providence teenager is dead and five others are injured after a three-vehicle crash in Seekonk on Aug. 3, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III.
Massachusetts State Police responded to the crash on Interstate 195 West in Seekonk around 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found a motorcycle and sedan with “disabling damage,” and a pickup truck that rolled over.
18-year-old Abriana Herrera Perez, of Providence, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcycle operator, a 33-year-old man, was taken to the Rhode Island Hospital with injuries.
The pickup truck operator, a 69-year-old woman, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with minor injuries.
Three out of four occupants of the sedan, an 18-year-old woman, 17-year-old girl, and 17-year-old boy, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with minor injuries.
Herrera was the fourth occupant.
The crash remains under investigation.
