18-year-old shot in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that an 18-year-old was shot multiple times Saturday afternoon.

Sgt. Moses Pereira said that around 12:30 p.m. officers responded to Locust Street for a report of a person shot.

When they arrived, they found the male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Pereira said that the victim was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital for “immediate medical attention.”

The incident is under investigation.
