2 adults, multiple juveniles arrested for firearms charges

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Woonsocket Police Department said that two adults and seven juveniles were arrested after the department executed search warrants related to firearms charges.

Jayden Williams was charged with carrying a pistol without a license or permit and disorderly conduct, while Mulumba Mukuna was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said a loaded 9mm Taurus pistol with an extended magazine was found in a wall by a K-9 team during the searches.

The juveniles ranged in age from 16- to 17-years-old and each face a number of charges, including possession of a firearm by a minor, felony assault and battery, and disorderly conduct.

The department said these arrests are the starting point of an extensive investigation into a crew of adults and juveniles involved in numerous criminal activities,” and that more arrests are anticipated.
